項目位于武漢光谷腹地，原始戶型建筑面積170㎡，是一套4居室，當下的狀態是二人居住，所以希望房子呈現出來的狀態是開放多元通透無阻礙的。屋主夫婦二人，男屋主吳老師是武漢某著名高校的計算機教師，女屋主木子老師則經營著一家藝術傳媒教學機構，對藝術與美學有著深刻的理解和極高的造詣，每年往國內各大傳媒藝術高校輸送著眾多青年人才。

我們喜歡在設計上運用不同材質之間的層次感和對比感來達到感官享受。在這個空間里，我們大量使用了深色和中性色的不同質感的材料和軟裝單品，以便達到屋主和我們對于這個新家共同期待的樣子。

We like to use the sense of layering and contrast between different materials in the design to achieve sensory enjoyment. In this space, we made extensive use of materials and soft furnishings in different textures of dark and neutral colors, in order to achieve the look that both the owner and we wanted for this new home.

目之所及，黑棕色的天然木皮，中灰度的藝術涂料，深灰度的啞光地磚，深灰度的巖板在眼前一字排開，理性俊朗的氣息油然而生。金屬黃銅和軟裝配飾如沙發地毯綠植等的融入，同時，大量的天然木皮元素充斥于空間的各處，這也在一定程度上中和了空間的理性氣息，同時在質感上也無限深刻了細節，達到理性與感性的微妙平衡。

面對沙發的落地書柜，無疑是客廳空間里最好的裝飾載體和生活表達。書柜及其背后的承重墻體結構形成的洄游動線，豐富著空間的行走動線，也強調了空間的使用尺度和視覺尺度，折疊長虹玻璃門是客廳和書房的連接點，既融合又保持各自的獨立性，滿足男女屋主在家安靜地獨立地辦公的需求。

懸挑卡座的設計很好滿足了屋主二人在書房工作時的互動性，也能很好地滿足屋主在宅家狀態中有很多位置可以隨手翻閱書籍的角落。書柜采用深棕色木板制作而成，開放的書柜結構和海量藏書充分表達著二位屋主的學者氣息，古木紋天然大理石的嵌入美化了原始結構因包下水管形成的柱子。一張好桌子和一把好椅子給在家工作時的狀態提供著最佳載體。

我們在客廳和書房的窗洞上，均做了一個從墻體延申出來的盒體，盒體下端內部嵌入鋼板形成支撐力度，滿足女屋主在家隨處可坐的浪漫主義需求。深棕木色百葉簾更是制造空間氛圍，調節光線的武林高手。為了降低原始陽臺梁給空間形成的突兀感，我們加寬了梁體的寬度，表面用黃銅不銹鋼來進行包覆，同時結合燈光的設計，這種刻意而為之的設計細節形成的空間視覺符號，也是我們在這次的設計實踐中較之大眾設計手法，進行的一次小小的嘗試，它即弱化了梁，也美化了空間印象。

透過走廊看出去的客餐廳和書房，有一種井然有序的秩序感和展覽感，每一個空間都在自己的領域里默默地散發出迷人氣質，等待著和屋主的對話。女屋主期待的照片墻體安靜地陳列在書房的角落，散落于各處的燈光系統溫柔著在家的每時每刻。

我們擴大了原始廚房的尺度，讓原始背對客餐廳的廚房有了可以面對客餐廳的可能性，從此空間與空間之間擁有了很好的互動體驗，視覺尺度上也能最大程度地看到客餐廳，書房和預備兒童房。

在餐廳，島臺全部結構由金屬黃銅制作，餐桌則是由巖板制作而成，餐桌內部植入了金屬支撐結構。金屬黃銅島臺和巖板餐桌緊密咬合交融，是空間里一個猶如“大衛”雕塑般的美好存在體。
